Arrival in Moscow, the capital of the Russia. Bus transfer to the hotel.
Check-in at the hotel.
Afternoon continues with discovering famous Metro and Arbat street (approx. 3 h.) This tour introduces the history and architecture of the Metro subway system and includes travels by Metro to see the most famous stations that are uniquely designed with decorative elements including mosaics, statues and marble staircases. The tour proceed to Old Arbat street, one of Moscow’s oldest streets. The street has gone from being the headquarters of Ivan the Terrible’s secret police to the center of aristocratic life in Moscow in the 18th century to finally being the center of the Russian bohemian life.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning city tour of Moscow to see its main historic architectural and cultural monuments (approx. 3 h.) During the tour you will visit Vorobyevi Hills where you will get an incredible view of the city, you will proceed to Moscow State University which is an example of architecture from the time of Stalin, the Diplomatic Village, Triumphal Arch and much more. The tour will be finished at the Red Square, the so-called heart of the capital.

Visit of Kremlin and it’s cathedrals (2 h.) Moscow Kremlin – one of the largest and most beautiful architectural ensembles in the world, which includes visits of Archangel’s and Annunciation Cathedrals, the Armory, seeing an exhibition in the Assumption belfry and admire the Tsar Bell and the Tsar Cannon, famous masterpieces of the Russian casting.

Day 3. Moscow – Vladimir – Bogolyubovo – Suzdal (B, L)

Stop at Vladimir, city tour of Vladimir includes cathedral of Dormition, a unique monument of the white-stone architecture, monument to Prince Vladimir, Golden gates, which was built in the early XII century by Prince Andrei Bogolubsky and used as the main military tower of the fortress in ancient times, Cathedral of Saint Demetrius.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Further drive to Suzdal. Stop at Bogolyubovo on the way, the residence of Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky built between 1158 and 1165 at the mouth of the Nerl River. Russian Orthodox Christians believe that Bogolyubovo was founded on the spot where Andrei Bogolyubsky saw a vision of the Virgin Mary who appeared to him in a dream-like vision holding a scroll in Her right hand, and commanded him to build a church and monastery on the place of the vision. On this spot the Church of the Intercession of Neri was constructed. Today the church is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning city tour of Suzdal, often called the Russian Mecca. Sightseeing tour will take you to the oldest part of the Kremlin, the Cathedral of the Nativity, the Golden Gates, the Archbishops´ Chambers, a large architectural masterpiece, which houses a unique collection of historical and archaeological objects, including the Cross-Vaulted Chamber.
Tour continues with the visit at the open-air Museum of Wooden Architecture recreates the life and traditions of the people of Suzdal in the XVIII–XIX century. The ensemble includes churches, log houses and other structures.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Free time for souvenirs.

Afternoon City tour of Kostroma, which includes Epiphany Cathedral, that was the first stone edifice in the city, the Church of the Resurrection in the Grove and the Ipatievsky monastery with its’ beautiful frescoes at the Trinity Cathedral painted by the famous Kostroma master, Guri Nikitin.

Afternoon city tour of Pereslavl Zalessky. During the tour you will see the Red Square with the Cathedral of the Transfiguration.
Departure to the Sergiev Posad, the temporary residence of the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church and the World Cultural Heritage sight – the Trinity Sergius Lavra Monastery. The History and Art museum within the walls of the monastery contains a rich collection of old Russian paintings and various works of art dating from the 14th thru 17th centuries. The collection includes over 120,000 items: ancient icons, medieval manuscripts and old printed books, icon and ornamental embroideries, church utensils, articles of gold and silver, paintings, engravings, folk and contemporary art. Sergiev Posad is also famous for being home to the world´s first matryoshka doll.
